Unbelievable! Scenic flights with Rukaafrica were a unique way to see the top of famous mountain Kilimanjaro, volcanoe Longinio, the great valley of Tanzania, Lake Natron and thousands flamingoes. It was most exhilarating, inspirational and beautiful excursions we've ever taken! We took private tour and we were the only two passengers, it was so intimate and romantic, only for us! The first leg of the flight, over the valley of Tanzania, was phenomenally beautiful. I must have taken a thousand pictures! To see acres of forests, mountain lakes, villages of Masai from the helicopter - fantastic! And after that, we landed on volcano Lengai and started our short hiking tour to the crater! What i have seen on the top I couldn’t forget: the volcano is still active, he breathes. And you, standing by the crater, feel his breath under your feet, see how he spews hot lava. And around you the breathtaking landscapes. And at this moment to drink a bottle of Champagne Moet was a great idea from Clinton from Ruka Africa. The second step of flight was a flight to Lake Natron. Unbelievable! We have seen thousands flamingo flying under our foot. The second surprise from Ruka Africa was our landing on Natron camp for lunch and… taking warm lava pools. thank you for the high professionalism, and creative ideas in organization of our tours. We will be happy to flight with you again!

Top Absolutely awesome experience! The scenic flight provided beautiful, beautiful sceneries & surreal views. Enjoyed also the flight since I just love anything with flying & skydiving. Great to get that close to the pilots, see the full organisation from the back-end, try on oxygen masks, land actually with the Cessna instead of a parachute :D, etc. Exceeded my expectations big time. A huge thanks to Clinton, Irene & the full team for the flexibility provided despite tight schedules and short notice plan changes at my end.

Such a treat! If you have a bucket list, this is something you must put on it. It’s a truly one of a lifetime experience and a privilege to see the tallest peak in Africa up close. I climbed Kilimanjaro many years ago so seeing it from above was an incredible added experience. The flight is smooth and takes you by Mount Meru, the 3rd highest peak in Africa. A guided audio tour explains what you see, which is a great addition. The organizers even thought about providing little towels to wipe the windows when it fogs up. One note of caution, layer up, it gets cold up there.

Most incredible scenic flight in the world Every detail about the flight experience has been thought out very carefully. From the check in and briefing to the spacing of the Seats and positioning of the windows. Clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Mawenzi, Kibo Peak, Shira Plateau, Mount Meru and some other craters on the way. The audio tour is so informative yet entertaining. I had an incredible time. One of the top experiences to have in Africa for sure.

The value is tremendous and the Ruka staff (and Pilots) made everything easy to understand and deal with and was very enjoyable especially with the assurances that they offer.

Incredible Experience to See Kilimanjaro from Above Our group of 7 had a fantastic flight experience with Ruka Africa, flying around the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro. The flight experience is expensive at around $1800 for 8 people (we won the experience in a raffle!), and lasts around one hour in total. Ruka Africa have also created an audio experience alongside the flight, provided via their app. This was a great addition, it really added to the experience having a guide explain what you were flying over, landmark by landmark. Of course seeing Kilimanjaro is the high point of the experience, it is really an incredible sight.

Mt. Kilimanjaro Scenic Flight It was one hour of exciting 60 minutes. There were 2 pilots in the small airplane taking us up to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. We could download an App that was full of information about the landmarks we passed. The highlight was flying over the top of Africa and looking into the amazing crater. Flying back we saw the impressive Mount Meru. I recommend to anyone to do this trip. It is unforgettable. Christine

Flight of fantasy over Mount Kilimanjaro with #Rukaafrica To avoid 6 days of arduous trekking to see the highest peak of Africa namely Mount Kilimanjaro we were looking for a reliable and affordable flight operator in Arusha. We saw the signage of #Rukaafrica at Kilimanjaro International Airport and spoke to Irene. She was most accommodating and fixed our flight for next morning on 08/08/2019. She was personally there at 6 AM at the airport. We were taken aboard a beautifully maintained Jet Cessna aircraft. Both the Pilots were extremely competent, knowledgeable and friendly. They took us for the most panoramic view of Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru and the surrounding areas for over 1 hour. We got a breathtaking view of the Crater on top of Mount Kilimanjaro and clicked awesome pictures. This was one of my most memorable experience. Considering the aircraft and the crew, Rukaafrica gave us a fantastic deal which can really be called value for money. Without hesitation we can say that Rukaafrica are the best in the business.

Awesome Scenic Tour "If you can't have time to climb it, go fly to it with RukaAfrica" my partner and i enjoyed every bit of scenes along this flight route, seeing the SUNRISE from the apex of Mt. KILIMANJARO that close was breath-taking, thumbs up to the Team everything went very smooth. I recommend you all to go for this Scenic Tour worth your time.

Amazing experience Since we didn’t had the time to climb the majestic Kilimanjaro the scenic flight over Kili offered by Ruka was the best option available to get a close glimpse to the beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend this flight. Everyone and everything g was exceptional from checkin process, the flight, the app provided that is like a personal guide, the crew and not to forget the view. An A+ hard to forget experience!!!!
