The carbon produced from your Kilimanjaro scenic flight is offset at the Yaeda Valley Project through Carbon Tanzania. The project is centered around 3 villages namely Yaeda Chini, Mongo wa Mono and Domanga southwest of Mbulu District in Northern Tanzania.
The project works specifically to enhance the existing local forest ecosystem services, which are fundamental to the traditional lifestyle of the Hadza Hunter-gatherer community.
The areas are also used as dry season livestock forage and are important in containing water sources in the form of natural springs.
